What if instead of dressing up like scary characters and begging candy, kids dressed up like good characters?

But seriously, would that be a better way to raise our kids? Or do the kids need a time where they can go around and get candy from everyone?

we just did that at our church but we call it harvest fest and the kids dressed up in non scary costumes and went trunk to trunk as we called it trunk or treat.
